Not necessarily. The QB120 and QB132 are fairly large boards with relatively few diodes, so they can be run at nominal wattage without heat sinks, with performance similar to strip builds.

Sonoff work great for cycle timers. I like to take a power strip and install a sonoff midway up the cord. I have a few and use them for light timers, fan cycle timers, clone boxes. Very versatile.

I can’t find any science that supports the theory that a prolonged darkness will speed flower initiation. As usual, I find lots of opinion and anecdotal evidence. But I’m probably gonna do it on this run.
