I grew a plant that was from a old hippie friend's custom genetics, he wouldn't disclose the details but it was very pure sativa. I kept it under control by topping twice and contrant pruning and training to direct growth and it grew into a huge goddamn bush instead of a huge tree

this has been air drying for 4 days, Snow White from Nirvana: current weight is 24.5 on that specimen this is my 2nd indoor attempt and I am psyched so far, water curing 1/4 to sample early and air for the rest.

Wow talk about uninformed. Those overhyped 'BC Buds' are considered mids in SoCal go for about half of what this fool is talking about.

I'm a newb who would love to see this. I am quite interested in the above and just starting to look into it

I have no idea what you mean about grinding up plants stem and all. I would go into the clubs and see a beautiful fist-sized nugget of each strain in a glass cup waiting to be smelled. I definately had some amazing strains through the co-ops but my normal homegrow hookup is WAY danker and costs...

NonGreen I would be honoured by your thoughts on light placement as it applies to my setup. My lights were like 6" up and some people say too close, some say too far. I am a noob to this still, and you seem to have the knowledge I am seeking. Stop by by thread 'my first grow' if you are down :peace:

just did a bunch of research for my first grow and it seems like there are ups and downs to both. check out some of the grow journals and see what others have built, and read as many grow FAQs as you can. thats why i'm making two setups :mrgreen: also to alternate harvets if i can set that up

I dropped it 3 inches and it's perfectly comfortable to hold my hand in there. My girl says it feels "cool" to her. I live in socal so environment temps are very mild here whether its hot or cold. Sadly this is the best temp indicator I have at the moment.

definately da high-grade! the co-op sold the stuff at $65 for 1/8th...but I know the dude who supplied so lets just say I didn't pay that for my sample.

They had already stretched when I placed them under the light, and haven't seemed to since so I thought they were okay. I will drop it a few inches and post more pictures before lights-out tonight. Thanks for the heads up.
