Just what I was looking for - not practical for annuals - was hoping it would be a worth while way to make our favorite annuals into perennials - thanks everyone for all the good grafting info tho - and please print me up some algae that grows tricomes thank you haha
Sweet - thanks for the procedure - esp the tubing idea - are you supposed to use a rooting hormone or anything where the cuts join up? Also my real question was not well worded before but would a rootstock/skeleton be usable after it has made buds - like just graft on a new top and maybe a...
Ok - so I saw this video recently about grafting multiple strains onto a single rootstock and how it would be useful for someone limited by plant count - to have a frankenmother plant with different branches giving different strain clones - thought "cool - but I don't need to do THAT..." Did a...
From what I understand - it isn't. You would need to dehumidify the drying room or think about doing a dry ice cure - don't take that as 100% truth cause I'm new to curing too and haven't got a cure right yet but I haven't had the rh that high in my drying area and have not done a dry ice cure...
So I keep having the same consistent cure every time but the problem is it's not great -
it will smell awesome in the jar but not like anything I've had in 20 yrs of smoking -
it gets like a spicy/earthy/coffe smell - not grassy at all and not like any bud i can remember smelling (not skunky)...
Hey guys - am pretty new to growing and curing - was just wondering could this be made more simple by just saying dry your bud until rh reads 60-65% when sealed in a jar and then leave it alone for as long as possible or until needed? I'm just not 100% on when and why to ever open the jar other...
Ah color blind - sorry to hear - I got pics tho here's one half trimmed I just finished and the top from the more mature ck
And some close ups of the blue/purple - it is
faint but def there - just wondering if it was to be expected on this strain and it sounds like yes
And lastly one of...
I don't have enough time to chop and trim ugh! Got a friend to help about 4 hours ea on fri and sat and got about the first 2 or 2 1/2 oz that looked more ready (was 60 days fri and I guess were slow noobs and maybe distracted with scissor hash too haha) almost all was GDP besides one branch and...
Its funny the GDP look a bit more mature but way smaller cause they're clones/moms - great looking buds on them tho - I just thought the ck was supposed to finish faster is all and yea I didn't really mean flush - I will just water with plain water and normal runoff for about a week or 2 I guess...
Sounds like we flipped the same week.. Was planning to get mine at least partly chopped a couple days before 60 and then let the lower buds develop a bit more.. Mostly cause it will be a Friday and give me time to trim. Read on that super long ck thread someone had grown it several times and...
Ouch!! Rats?? Did you plants get pleague? :) that sucks tho seriously and you would think the big name seed co's would not put oh garbage genetics that die and hermie.. Are u sure it was genetics that killed them and not like.. Pleague :) or some other temp/air/watering issue?
On yeah.. Got my temps stable at about 71-75 daily now.. And outside temps have been about 5+ degrees cooler too. Wanting to do perpetual in the room I have - I have a cab for clones and another for bigger clones and moms but I have to tweak the ventilation on the cabs and not fucking with that...
For sure.. I think they got a little stretched tho cause it's my 1st grow in this room - still was figuring out the ventilation situation at first so they were far from the cfls for about 3 weeks and temps were still getting a little high - so I got a plan to fix that when I'm vegging next time...
