Im using a 430 HPS with cfls on the side. Ive taken the 6500K cfls out for now but ill put some 2700K cfls in after the girls get going with their flowering. Ill have some pics up later showing the first signs of pistils on the purple and cali.

I started 12/12 the other day and they are looking good and loving it. I also added a 30 inch box fan with three settings for some air movement.

I have about 8' of vertical space so should I even worry about topping? If so, when should I top to get the most yield?

i used spray adhesive and a heat blanket from walmart for my rubbermaid grow. probably 10 dollars tops

I would just go with cfls. Im growing with a 400w hps in a bedroom by itself and I need a loud industrial fan to keep the temps where I want them. Ive never used a 250w but I could imagine that you would have similar problems given that you are working in an inclosed space.

i have two plants one month into flowering, grown from bagseed under a 430 watt sun agro hps. im using montys joy juice as my nutes and my soil is miracle grow organic choice. does anyone have an idea of what my final yield could be?
