Could the Chicken Wire be preventing lower node growth? We have deer, rabbits, etc around us, but haven't had much of a problem. Should I keep the plants inside the wire or set em free?

When is it better to let the plants deal with the animals and remove the chicken wire? I have deer, elk, bunnies, etc. My plants are in a raised bed on a rocky hill (mountains). They are just over three months old and still vegging. I want them to grow huge. Will the wire hinder their growth...
