I could be wrong here but if you are saying you are giving them .5ml per galon its deficient even 1 ml per galon is low imo. The instructions even say 2-4ml per galon and if you are mixing up your other base nutrients in like .5ml vs 5ml that could also be your problem. For reference I use 4ml...
