No that was just one offshoot leaf I didn't want to really mess things up so I didnt go crazy. That plant is a white widow. I just wanna make the plants bushier for more buds. Advice? Opinions?

This is where it gets confusing lol. In my newbie haste I didn't label the pots so idk which plant is what. I originally tried to germinate 4 only two lived. The bubblelicious is Nirvana and the WW is from Ministry of Cannabis. Idk which plant is which right now. So if anyone can I'd them that...

By dried out I just do the knuckle test. Stick my finger in the soil in a few places see how it feels. Lift the pot see if its light hahaha. And I look at the leaves. If they're real perky not droopy and the soil is dry I water. Hahaha. Kind of rudimentary but...

I vegged them under floros for the first 4 wks. So they've only been under the HID for about 2 wks. But even then I feel like they're still lacking. Idk. Maybe I'm over thinking it. Right now the MH is 15 inches over the plants.

I look at some other people's pics and I'm like whoa what am I doing wrong? Lol

I'm glad I came on this thread because I have been wondering the same stuff. I have two INDICA based plants. WW and bubblelicious and I started vegging them under floros until they were about 4 inches 3wks. Then figured I needed more light so I put them under a 400w MH and they've gotten taller...

I have them in 3 gal pots with soil now. I'm using a 400w hid MH and am gonna flower them with a 400w HPS. I have a decent amount of height to work with about 6 ft tall and 4 ft wide but I know if they get too big the light won't penetrate. This is my first grow and I've never done any topping...
