I ordered a Nextgen ballast thru R & M Supply and it arrived within a week. However it wouldn't stay lit, so after spending ~$300 on a ballast and digilux bulb, I had to send it back. I sent it back 2 day express which cost me $45 but I was told they'd match return shipping so I figured id have...
I am confident that the 3 with male pre-flowers were male, at the point I chopped them all 10 showed preflower 7 clearly female, 3 clearly male. I even kept the plants in ? in my coat closet with the light on to make sure they continued to show male preflowers, which they did.
I only started...
Just to be clear to all the loyal nirvana customers, I am not saying Nirvana is crap. I am just giving a heads up the their MIXED pack was not up to par with any of their other strains I have grown. I loved my gorgeous purple bubblelicious and my icey white ak's! Just the mixed that were fucked...
My 1st grow I used pura vida organic grow/bloom. Simple, organic, all good.
For my second grow I purchased Humboldt Nutes, and had all kinds of issues, mainly due to my inexpirience.
I have now been using AN for over a year now. I stumbled upon $600 worth of unopened nutrients on craigslist...
Hey guys just thought Id share my most recent expirience with Nirvana. I'd been using Nirvana exclusively for a while, growing out bubblelicious and ak48 with no real complaints, other than their strains being so damn unstable. In my last order I decided to throw in a Mixed pack of feminized...
Vortex & CAP Valueline (CHEAP) fans do not have any compatability issues when running with a speed controller. Just an FIY for anyone worried about this.
Ive used Sun System 10 ballasts for years without any issues whatsoever. I also have a used hydrofarm that must be 10+ years old, no problems with it either. So what I am getting at is that there are not many companies who manufacture the interenal ballast components so they are largely the...
Inline fans alot are much more efficient when pulling air through a filter, but either way will work. Definently go with the inline, not the blower. If you ever plan on upgrading lighting at any point maybe consider a 6" fan with a speed controller you can run on low. You may even want to think...
The speed control has a few purposes. Running at 100% an inline is quite loud so the variable (dial anywhere 30%-100%) speed controller allows you to run at a lower speed which greatly reduces the noise. Also, it allows you to buy a big fan now so that in the future, if you upgrade lighting you...
Get a 6" inline with speed controller and be done with it. PC fans and Booster fans arent going to cut it. Plan on spending at least $100 on an inline fan. Dont skimp on ventilation its more of a headache than its worth!
Do some reading, its not difficult to work out. Here is my advice to you as far as venting a tent is concerned. Get a 6" inline fan and a fan speed controller. Run a passive intake. The overkill fan will allow you to dial in the cfm's to whereever you want them. I reccommend the 6" over 4"...
I recently set up a DR150 5x5 tent and had alot of the same questions as you so i'll try and help you out a big. First off, I doubt youll need the AC inside the tent. With the CO2 enriched to 1500ppm you will want to run temps in the mid 80's, if temps are lower plants cannot use the extra CO2...
Alot of it comes down to personal preference on this. I begin to flush when 20%-30% of the trics turn amber, and flush 10 days. This typically leaves with with 50% cloudy/ 50% amber trics at harvest time.
Been lurking throughout the whole grow and have really enjoyed it. Love the SOG and the Cab, looks great, very impressive. Still waiting to hear the final yield...actually been checking the thread daily in anticipation....so....keep up the good work and im staying tuned in on your next journal...
