I agree about cutting too early and I've jumped the gun myself. The bud will seem to stall and then start stacking on top again before it's done. It's like it takes a deep breath and then pushes everything with all it's got. I have been waiting 12 weeks.... and I have no finger nails left!
Yup. You may have to help it a bit at times. It's no big deal though. This method is probably gonna crack some stems your first time. Most of mine were topped then Scrogged so they all split apart. I just reinforced them by tying them to the screen. They grow and produce anyway. Let your plants...
Patience... i waited almost two weeks once... keep an eye on the cola... it'll be the first place to show (and make sure it's dark! LOL! not that you don't know that) they still seem young so don't fret.... they'll just take a little longer to get going.

Put the screen right above your plants... they will grow through on their own... when they get 2-3 inches above the screen, pull them under and wait for them to do it again..... seriously, just try it and you'll figure it out as you go!
Peace
4 "Screen of Green" you need a screen. The screen can be closer than 10 inches if you really don't have the room. But the screen is what keep the height of the plant controlled and give you something to train it to. Have you not seen a picture of a Scrog set up yet?
The FAQ has a really good...
you just need enough room to be able to get your hands in there.. 8 inches will work.. but it'll get tight when the plant spreads out... just give it a go and you'll see what you need to change for next time.

With Scrogging.... you place the screen about ten inches above your pot. Secure it in place. Then, as your plant stretches during flower... it'll push through the screen to get at the light. To control the hieght and get as much light to budsites as you can... just keep pulling the branches back...
I've got two cents for this thread.
I love Canada. I have lived all across this country... and the West is the Best (that was for all you Easterners.. LOL.. I was born in Ottawa) It's a beautiful place with a great laid back atmosphere for the most part. But we have the same money hungry...
