oh dont worry I knew all this as well, I'm just very pro-LED and I wanted to prove to the 'haters' that LEDs do produce more substantial light than HPS and MH :P A lot of people argue that it's all about the lumens, and that makes LEDs terrible, i just wanted to prove then wrong haha xD

This video compares the red and blue spectrum outputs of a 330W LED, a 400W Metal Halide and a 600W HPS and shows evidence that the LED gives out the most essential lighting spectrums even at a much lower wattage. Could this be the proof we need? Any thoughts...

you can never have too much light, but you can have too much heat, as long as you make sure you control the temperature well, you should have no problem :)

thats true, but i cant afford that kind of energy consumption, especially when i have other grows to worry about, otherwise yes, i totally agree with you, it all depends on peoples preferences really and what works best for them :)

of course not, everyone has there own preferences and knows what works best for them and their setup. for me, LED's are the best choice, however for others that may not be the case.

I wont argue, LED's are MUCH more expensive, but in the long run, you save ridiculous amounts of money on your electricity bills :) and don worry i have researched more into it, i dont listen to the company's bullshit, i look at more appropriate websites for the data, such as company's that dont...

Maybe the LED lights arent the equivalent at the same distance from the plant but guess what, i can put my lights 4 cm away from my plants MAKING it the equivalent of you energy sucking HPS loool, i didnt mean it like that anyway. i HAVE done the research, i've not looked on marijuana based...

LED are by far my favourite type of grow light :) i just love the idea that it can produce such a huge amount of equivalent energy without using too much electric and staying really cool :) theyre so AWESOME xD

High grow is a very good program i wont lie, but if this one was for MJ it would be so much better :D

As far as i've been informed, LED are usually equivalent to a HPS 2.5 to 3 times the wattage :P i may be wrong but thats all ive been told xD

no dude this is for personal use xD and nobody would murder me cos it wouldnt be part of the black market :) and if you think that growing is for stupid people, why you on this forum topic? ;)

Oh, and actually even 1000W LED lights dont produce nearly enough heat to show up, thats one of the reasons why theyre getting so popular to use ;) low energy cost, low heat, low everything :) and they still grow plants aswell as hps ;)

I can imagine, but i just love the idea of having a huge-ass plant :D
