I am trying to figure out when I should start my plants indoors and then be able to move them outdoors 24/7. Would love to hear from fellow Orgonians to see when they typically start the outdoor growing(no green houses) Also, any Orgonian female growers?:wall:
I always start my seedlings under 2 22watt flourescent tube lights and am trying to figure out how far away it should be from the bulbs. I typically have the seedlings about 10 inches under the lights and any closer the leaves start to curl. But I feel like the plants are slow to grow(I know all...
If it is transplant shock then shouldn't the leaves start to droop earlier in the light cycle? I don"t understand why it starts to happen around the 14th hour. I definetly do not need to water. Any chance it has too much light for just coming out of the seedling stage...call it light shock?
I have a 5-6 week old plant just on the edge of going into the veggie phase. I transplanted it about a week ago into a bigger pot and a few days ago moved it from under flourescent tubes to CFL's(2 42watt) at about 4-5 inches away from the bulb. Since then, at around 14 hours into the 18 hour...
I also live in the valley and start my plants indoors in March and then move them out in May depending on the weather we are having. The only plant I grow on your list is Big Bud and it does wonderfully for me. Do you happen to know when we will happen to have 12/12 days of sunlight? I am tired...
I live/grow in Oregon both indoors and outdoors. I am trying to figure out when I can leave my flowering plants outside 24/7 so that they receive a nutural 12/12 light cycle. Taking several 4' plants in and out every single day is becoming old and can't wait until I can just leave them out until...
I am working with all 42w CFL's and I am trying to figure out how far away I should have the lights from the seedlings up until the get to veging. Currently I am keeping all 5 of my seedlings about 9-10 inches away but they aren't growing very fast. Any thoughts?
I read that increasing nitrogen and lowering potassium in the 1st 2 weeks increases the chance of females.....How do I create this envoroment? I have only been growing for about a year but my indoor plants under CFL's end up being mostly males. Please help......I am running out of seeds:wall:
