Well yes I started them indoor until they reached 3-4 nodes high and gradually introduce them outdoors from Solo cups to 3 gal containers. I like to transplant 3 times cause I tend to get wild with the water and over do it in the bigger containers. Right now I been watering every 2-3 days and...
Appreciate the post. I used 100% ocean Forest. Last year I used a 50/50 mix of ocean Forest and some pro-soil. Now I look back and think i should have continued that. I figured when transplanted they where big enough to handle it.
I may have got a bit full of myself this grow. Thinking I had...
I done everything everyone gave advice on 2 of the 3 plants look okay but are going back to growing some deformed leaves again... No nutes have been used yet in fox farm soil after transplant. Soil ph around 6.5 and watering at that . These are much more finicky then my last grow... Almost don't...
Well finally have had some nice sunny days here so my pots where able to dry out. I think I had a mixture not transplanting soon enough and I had over watered it. I let them dry out used less water at the right pH and seem to be making a turn around. Thanks for all the advice it is much appreciated.
The plants where in pro-soil no nutes in this soil... This is what I use for the first 3-4 weeks until they can take the foxfarm soil. Since transplant I have only been watering with plain water and every other watering I been adding recharge.
Would the non-digital soil ph tester work for this application?
I thought when you water you gather the water that drains from the bottom of the container and do a pH test and that would give your reading of soil ph.
I can probably guarantee that it's well below 6.5 pH. My last grow I used...
6-4-4 are the npk on the growbig. Even the feeding schedule on the site calls for it. I been taking it light on nutes. Every other watering since I noticed this I thought it was an OD on the nutes. I also use recharge (mircoorganizim) from what I gathered from my buddy is that if use this stuff...
So these ladies are about a foot tall at 4 weeks old... They where first grown in a solo cup and been in there for 4 weeks. They where just recently transplanted into new pots because they outgrew Solo cups. The root system took over the cups. I didn't want stressed plants from being in to small...
I have not watered her in a week now after the transplant. Also some leaves are a dark green color and some have burnt tips on leafs. I'm only using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of fox farm fert to start off plants with. I did notice some bugs on bottoms of leafs looks like maybe spider mites I've...
