Under heavy sedation

for 2-3 grand you can build a bad ass grow room. Do you need to build a shed or do you have a spare bedroom you could use? I didn't understand your question about the a/c. I have an a/c unit in the room but i also draw my air (at least this time of year) from under the house, that way its cooler from the get go so the a/c unit doesn't have to work as hard.

I've never ordered any seeds, i've always got clones from friends. The same results as subcool? the seed bank or is that a user name?

The idea around the scrog is that it allows all of the colas to get equal light, if its done correctly. It's also a great method for people that down have the room for vertical growth.

As for my ventilation I have built on air intake box with a furnace filter that draws air from under the house, the air is then pulled into the bedroom where the tent is. Inside the bedrom I have a heater and an a/c unit to get the air to the temp I want. The air is then pulled from the room through another air box and into the bottom of tent. Fro there I have 6 inch ducting that goes out of the top of the tent, through the ceiling and into the attic. In the attic is where my in-line 6 inch fan is. The fan is a wind tunnel that's rated at 425 cfm. Once the air passes through the fan it is then pushed through the roof through a vent. I do not have any filters for smell on mine. I move enough air and live in a neighborhood where its not too much of a concern. I know of growers all over my neighborhood, so driving down the road in august it smells like skunk anyway.

I personally haven't seen a single kit that I like. Many kits come with equipment and ferts that you will end up replacing once you get into growing more. I don't mind helping at all, I actually enjoy working on projects. I currently have six plants under my 600 watt, it's a little crowded in the tent, but that is why I scrogged it. First place you need to start is where do you want to grow? I'm using a grow tent now and I hate it. They are handy for those that can't build anything, but for the money I could have built something way more bad ass. I kind of rushed into my indoor grow, which is why I have it.


What kind of funds are you prepared to invest into your room? This will determine to a large extent on what kind of set-up you should go with.

saw ur post in the 600 club. what kind of set-up are you looking for? hydro? dirt? whats the dimensions of the shed? got a pic? i'm pretty crafty and willing to help.
