Closing in on week 7 of flower and things are looking good. Getting a lot of yellowing on the lower portions of the plant, some dead leaves falling off. Trichomes are mostly clear but starting to cloud up, no signs of amber yet. They smell like berry granola bar especially when they are warm or...
Thanks man! They smell exactly like these organic berry cereal bars we get for our little ones. Very very sweet berry aroma with some earthy notes. I've noticed when they start to get dry (or on the warm side) the entire room around my tent is filled with their aroma even though I've got an 8"...
Citrus Berry 6 weeks into flower on my first mainline attempt (2nd grow overall). The purple is beautiful and in the last two weeks the colas have really fattened up, I can't wait to see how they look in another 2 weeks.
Thanks a ton man, it has been such a great experience but I'd never nominate myself. I'm stoked that there are folks out there that are willing to help a total stranger so much.
As for the garden, things have gotten serious. I would say in the past 2 weeks every cola has doubled in thickness...
Very nice execution bro. I popped a screen-cap to include in this post so others could see your lighting layout.
I will be most certainly doing this although I've already got 3 COBs running down the middle of my frame so I might do 2 T5s which result in something like the following:

Yep, build a soils cover crop blend. One little $5 bag will last years. I also amend with their craft blend. Actually my entire re-cycle amendment is just half of the craft blends recommended amount and 30lbs of EWC. A single bag of their craft blend will last me a few years too and I don't have...
Nitrogen fixation, the clover feeds the plants and when it comes time to re-amend the soil I won't need to add as much. That plus 24 to 48 hours before the plants droop the clover will so i don't have to wonder or finger up the soil to know its status.
Believe it or not I've been obsessed with equal light distribution and cola height. I rotate the plants and use a bubble level app (free in App Store) to check that my lights are level at each adjustment. Regardless of these efforts genetics (and a few mistakes) won out haha. One thing that was...
Red, white and crimson clover for nitrogen fixation (and diversity) along with some vetch and flax. The straw keeps the top 2" of soil from drying out and breaks up the water stream so I'm not boring holes into the soil when I water. The clover also serve as a dead simple early indicator that...
