what do you guys think about the 4000K and 5000K cxa's ? Anyone uses them? I would like to use one of those to add to 2x 3000K . I know it would be the best to go 3x 3000K but i wanna try with anonther kelvin rating too
what do you guys think of the heatsink, of wich i posted a link on the bottom of previos page. it is rated at 60watts. would that be enough cooling, so i won't need a fan? The only thing i don't like is that the mount is enclosed by he heatsink and is quite deep. is this very bad for light spread?
aha then i should better get one 5000K and then 2x 3000K . Look at this nice heatsink i found at digikey: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/NX300158/1061-1153-ND/4215390 . Only 13 bucks and has already tapered holes so just screw in the led :D but you have to buy extra fan i guess.
thans for your answer capt! i don't have any parts yet but i am researching to find the best setup for my box. So then 3 cobs or 150W will be still plenty for one plant in my space.
i was thinking of driving them at 50w each (i think that is around 1.4A) for total of 200watts. I could go with 8 weeks veg, then 2 months flower. 4 months not so bad for me
well then the best thing to do is to get 2 long heatsinks and run about 40-50w of cree xm-l 6500k on each one. And then add 3x 3000K cxa3070 for flowering.
