i am intrested in those 200 florecents grow lamps do they just work in any oold socket or what

i wanna use a 400 hps for flower and have small veg room just so got a cycle what kinda light could use for the veg room so i got maxium yeild or whatever should i just go will 400 watt mh for veg and 400 hps for flower i could use some input plz not very big space

i hear that you cant get anymore then couple ounces of a 600w digital ballast in a area that is 2 ft wide by 4 ft long about 6 feet tall any intell would be appreciated what do you figure icould get

thx for the help yea the setup is a digital ballast with both bulbs air cooled hood but dont know wheather i should get the 400 or the 600 box will be 2 ft wide by 4 ft long and 6 high what do you think would be good the 600 or the 400 i figure 6 should give me more in the end with more...
