yeah thats a tiny bit of mold starting, looks like you caught it extremely early. should be ok to smoke, just store it in a less humid spot or lay it out to dry for 1/2 a day.

sorry to hear about your bad experience. i was 2 for 2 with the Easy Ryder from Joint Doctor. i would highly recommend those if you are still looking to grow auto's, they have AK in their genes too.

the fan leaves do not produce flower sites, but rather suck up light to feed the rest of the plant. important during early and middle flowering.

not necessary, all you need is a grow medium that will drain well and will maintain a little bit of aeration.

for the size of your closet i think that a 250w would do nicely
