From what I have heard and looked in to, my quess is that it will take a quater to half a million dollars depending on if building a facility or renting one.
It seems to me. it's best to stick with just 1 or 2 strains to start and having larger harvests for the batch testing costs.
Personally I would like to start with 4 flower rooms with 10 lights each. Harvest every 2 weeks. Even at wholesale that that would be over 700,000 a year to start.

So what are your thoughts? Are you looking to do the business side or both?
How big do you want to start?
How are you thinking about getting a client base? Personally I would have a hard time buying from a new company on Health Canada's web site as a patient. But would be willing to deal with a club that I had a previous membership with.

No I haven't talked with anyone else on the forum, but have been talkin with a friend who has the business background and the money. He runs the business side and i run the grow. But he is still on the fence about putting up the money.

The other contact I have is with a club in TO that I have been working with. They are hoping to have lic in a month or so and will need to buy wholesale as their existing client base is large and are expecting it to continue. Less money but gets the product moving while building your own client base.
They will also have a lab that I could use for testing. Still waiting on price. And could possible help with the QA if needed.
I also have contacts in the food drink industry for QA like yourself.

I myself live in the Caledon area, which seems probably a half hour away from you or so! My little forum intro has the other information about myself.

I am neither a DG/Med patient - but have been involved in the scene for a while now, and have done a couple of successful outdoor grows myself, and am really interested in taking a legal route moving forward, as my shadier days are behind me!

Looks as though the PMs are working, and so please feel free to share whatever information it is that you have! Have you been discussing things with other members as well?

Hopefully soon we can make more sense of how to move forward with HC in pursuing this!
