Also I water daily should I less? I only dampen the soil, not soak it. Usually by the time I water again the soil on top is dry

Should I move back to a smaller container?

I need help with my first plant. It sprouted on the 18th. I'm noticing discoloring of the bottom leaves and stem, and small white spots on the top leaves. I give miracles grow weekly, it's had one dose.
