this is the best i have use, a drip sys. in rock wool and a 20 gal res. with 1200 in lits on the 5 week of bloom. but do you think those buckets would work outside for a grow, say on the patio.

thanks for that advise. i can give a lot of that a try. no i use rock wool just have the clay on top for cut back on the alg. i don't have to hand water to ofen with the rock wool

my water runs about 15 mins at a time in my 18 gal and comes on 6 times a day. and put them below ground that way you will keep down on the alg.
