Crispy plant in flower! Wtf.. help me out

Assigning dismissive labels when something is difficult instead of addressing our own inadequacy is what children do. ‍♂️

I'm just a humble gardener my friend. The company I work for sends everything to a few different testing facilities (some are quicker than others depending on their current workload, we always go with whoever can provide the quickest results at the time that testing is required.

Source definitely has an effect. If you've got the resources to test your amendments, and your product; than you can see if your source is clean and leaving you with a clean product. My approach is to blanket out anything that might be a risk; but not everything that falls under that blanket is...

Check out your local nurseries or places that sell wildflowers or landscaping supplies. A lot of them will sell affordable compost. Kind of out of season right now but definitely a great local option in the spring and summer.

I'm in Michigan. I've Cali and Washington have stricter tests though. I prefer to lean pretty hard on manure (mostly rabbit + cow) than meals...but if I were to reccomend a mix of meals I would reccomend Neem seed meal Alfalfa meal or blood meal Bone meal Langbeinite or Sulfate of Potash Lime...

Locally sourced ewc or just plain compost is always going to be a great option. For potting soil I reccomend making it 15% of your mix and to top dress with large handfuls throughout the growth cycle. Depending on your source you might be able to lean on it pretty hard as your main fertilizer...

Hopefully it served you well! Cheers my friend! I don't spend too much time on the boards anymore but I'll still hop on when an old post alerts.

Grow wise I've never noticed much difference between fish bone meal vs standard cow bone meal. I can tell you that ever since dealing with state compliance tests and seeing all the things that organic fertilizers can add to the bud...I avoid any fertilizers that are ocean based (this includes...

You don't need the hydrolysate. If you got: EWC Alfalfa Meal Bone Meal Langbeinite Kelp Meal Lime Than you're good my friend no need for anything else. Neem seed meal will decrease the need to add additional Alfalfa meal in later vegetation stage of more heavy feeding strains.

Drainage holes wouldn't hurt, you don't want it to go anaerobic. Prolly won't be the first time you smoke heavy metals but definitely an amendment I would move away from in the future.

Skip the guano bat or bird it's filled with heavy metals. You're probably not trying to pass a compliance test but you would fail one for heavy metals if you used guano. Just top dress with some more bone meal, ewc, and a pinch of langbeinite when you flip. And yeah don't skip the lang, you'll...

    Organic soil ph issues

I'm not sure how that will effect your soil over time...if you want to lower your pH organically there are much cheaper options. Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice chief among them.

Honestly I've never used the rose and flower mix so I'm not super familiar with what's in it. If you already picked some up I don't see the harm in sprinkling down a bit of both, most down to earth products are more or less composed of the same things. Biolive has some of the costlier...
