I'm resurrecting this thread today on the day of our Lord and savior Zombie Jesus, who rose from the dead and feasted on the brains of humanity.
Anyhoo, I'm in week 2 of flowering and my Swiss Cheese is barely showing tufts of white hairs at the bud sites. It has been slow to develop ever since...
Wow, interesting stuff. I use LED's which work great for the top 4-5 inches of canopy but end up having to lollipop since the light doesn't penetrate well.
Do you have any advice I could employ to help fix that?
The only wrong way to LST is if you damage the plant i.e. snapping stems or tying strings so tight it gouges into the stem. As long as they're bent over with light reaching the lower parts of the plant, you're LST'ing correctly.
BUT....be aware that some strains don't respond very well to LST...
Everything they sell can be bought in a hydro store stateside or from US online stores. Why would you buy it from Canada where they would probably charge higher shipping?
Florida's MJ laws are draconic to say the least and will only get worse under Rick Scott. Of course he campaigns under the guise of less government intrusion EXCEPT when it comes to responsible drug use, women's health, etc.
That being said, FL has the highest rate of indoor grow-op busts in...
Yup. The purple stems and stalks are a spitting image. I would imagine the purpose of using bloom nutrients is to correct a phosphorous deficiency, as bloom nutrients contain much higher P levels than veg nutrients. I'm sure your plants will show improvement as will mine after I do the same...
Not sure if anyone mentioned this strain since I'm not going to read through 11 pages, but Barney's Farm Dr. Grinspoon is 25% THC, which is the highest of any strain right now. But as breeding and hybridization continue to evolve, %THC will continue to rise.
Actually my NPK ratio is 8-4-8 in a 2 part solution. I didn't start giving nutrients until week 3 of vegetation at which time both my plants were showing signs of malnutrition. I understand FF Ocean Forest has organic nutrients in it, but I was making judgments based on how my plants looked...
I just dissolved 1/3 teaspoon of Epsom salts in water and sprayed them down last week. Do you think they are still Mg deficient?
What is causing the red stems and stalks? Nitrogen? Phosphorous?
Quick background: I have one Nirvana Blackberry and one Nirvana Swiss Cheese in Fox Farm Ocean Forest/perlite with mycorrhizal fungi. They both get the same nutrients (EcoGrow) every week mixed at 75-100% strength, plus I spray them on occasion with harpin protein. Water pH after nutrients is...
