yeah theres a dryer vent, it exhausts outside about 8 feet up so i assume it goes over my kitchen and outside (laundry room is in kitchen, opposite the window to outside) so i could definitely exhaust there. would pre-existing lint buildup in the duct be anything to worry about? i assume not...
