do i mix them or do i act as if the vermiculite were perlite and put it in on top along with the water holes 2 inches up? or what? am i to emulate a hempy bucket or a standard soil stylee? thanks for advice in advance

also, should i just cut te very bottom off? seems kind of a waste really, should I slice the whole thing open so the roots can go where they please?
