Well I killed the last of my plants this weekend ... not sure if it was too much water or not. This was my second try and I think I'm going to leave the growing up to you with green thumbs ...
:o
what are preflowers? Do they start flowering and then stop or is it just the beginning of the flower stage? does it always happen? Does it tell you anything
Thanks
I'm about to transplant my seedlings into pots and I was going to use big ones to avoid having to transplant them again ... why is it bad to use big pots? Just curious ...
I don't know if it will color the leaves or not, but it will probably color the flower/bud. That is how Carnations are colored ... they are grown white but come in all of those pastel colors because the stems are set in dye and it is soaked up ... but the leaves and stems stay green.
Good...
Thanks for the info and the link ... I was afraid I was going to have to buy something far more complicated than just a better grade timer.
Thanks everyone
I keep reading that if you use a standard household light timer with a HID fixture such as HPS light that the timer will blow up. What is everyone using for timers? Any links to products would be really appreciated ... and I'm a complete idiot when it comes to electrical fixtures so details...
As a fellow new grower, I'd take richjames' advice. This is my second shot at growing and the first time I started out with just two plants ... one was a male and I accidentally killed the other one. So I'm starting over now. :o
