Well the sea is poluted as fuck with plastic particles and mercury. And seaweed mops heavy metals up. Im sorry I dont have a source where they tested kelp for heavy metals. Only some general stuff about polution. But if you google it up I'm pretty sure you will find information about it...

Hi, I'm interested in this organic stuff since I want to reuse my earth instead of throwing it away. I really dont want to use kelp meal because of the high amounts of heavy metals found in it. Are you guys still using it or did you find any alternative that is as good as kelp

Sry I meant what does it need to keep the f-series cool at max current. So 1.1 or 1.2 A. Did anyone in this Forum ever measured the temperature of the f-strips with different current like in the bridgelux EB thermal thread?

I'm loving the beef :D btw. I've read that most meanwell HLG driver exceed their max current output by 10-20%. Is this true? Can it still do this when voltage output is at 100%? So a 200W driver would have 210-220W ?

If I use something like this driver to fire up 16 2ft stripes: HLG-240H-20 I have to dimm to run it @200 watt. Is the efficiency of the driver still arround 93% when it is dimmed?

So when I use 1 samsung strip FB22B with 144 diodes and run it at 30,55 watt, is this the 30w/sqft you are referring to? because that means its 12.38 watt are wasted in heat and 18.17w are the light. or do u mean 30w without heatwasting? that would be arround 54,71w for one strip. again 30watt...

hmm.. Am I calculating this wrong? From 400W to 500 W its about 25% more electricity. So if it doesnt get me more than 25% yield its not really worth it. If it only gets me 15% more yield its totally not worth it. Don't know if my math checks out :D
