Got a random plant from a neighbor about 4 weeks ago. Been giving it 24h of light in the grow tent and it's growing nice. Can't for the life of me tell if it's male or female or if it's too soon to tell-picture attached. Is this remotely useful in determining sex or is it time for more waiting...

Starting my straw bale garden in my cold greenhouse today. Second year in a row, I get a little salad bar growing on top of it of lettuce spinach kale etc. Anyone else use this method? It’s a nice way that I can make some space outside of my raised beds

I like Baker Creek a lot. Also look up preserving your own veggie seeds-I haven’t bought tomato seeds in years

They’re very handy but to echo what other folks have said, try them out before you leave town so you get the flow right.

Thanks. It was actually in a little peat pot for 12 days after sprouting and wasn’t growing more even then. Just potted it up to the grow bag. I see a lot of debate about whether to start it in its final container or to start small.

Scored an auto flowering Blue Hindu seed from Mosca seeds, germinated it and got it in some soil. Unfortunately, I accidentally used potting soil that had gotten wet from basement flooding and I suspect leached a lot of nutrients out of it. Very slow growth! I Transplanted the seedling to some...

Hello all, I have an older relative (60s) dealing with terrible insomnia. Was hoping for some recommendations on strains helping with sleep, preferably something that translates well to edibles. Anything autoflower would be ideal since my green thumb is still developing!
