the FAQs say cool for veg and warm for flower...so is soft white the same as warm?..lil confused

right now i have a lil sapling (my practice plant) and unfortunately my current situation doesnt allow me freedom to give it the evironment it needs (a growroom) so its stretching like crazy but no big since its the practice plant..but how soon can i start training..i was thinking of LSTing it...

anyone know what ratio i should use for mixing clay soil with potting soil?...ive learned the hard way that the miracle gro organic potting soil is way too hot so i wanna mix it up with the natural clay soil here in carolina. any good organic pesticide advice would be awesome too
