opened it up again and you where all correct with the 250w and ex was spot on with Thanks very much all. I found very light markings on the bulb saying osram 400w so the bulb that was given to me with the light was incorrect so I will purchase the correct wattage one shortly.

sounds like a good call. Just have a separate CFL set up close to the general herbs and have my buds in the grow tent.

Can you grow basil, coriander etc in the same grow tent as weed without any problems? My gf uses a lot of herbs in cooking and they are a pain to buy all the time and wondered if I could fast grow them under lights?

you make a good point. money spent on dealer could be used to buy nutes which in turn would help produce more buds and a healthier plant. win win really. good call.
