    Trichs Never Turn Amber

@k0ijn: "THC can degrade into CBN, THC-A can't." True, but you knew what I meant: Some THC-A will become THC, which is a well known fact. Therefore some of the THC-A ends up as CBN, during drying & curing. I never accused YOU for lack of sources in your posts on rollitup forums. I don't know...

2 600w cooltube best setup plz help

That is not the point, 600W HID gives more bang for the buck than 1000W HID. That is before considering the bulb can be closer, all you loose is area coverage.

Yellowing with spots spreading on lower fan leaves :(

Potassium deficiency, IMHO. Edit: Potassium isn't absorbed properly when there is too much calcium or nitrogen in the system. If you think this is more likely, check the pH of your water, and flush your whole system with water that contains half the normal amount of nutrients and see if...

New leaves inner yellowing with pics

When I had a plant where only the tops was yellow, the PH was a little on the high side. It actually got green again suprisingly quickly, after lowering the PH. I think this is the only time fixing PH in a organic grow helped me, so I would not take my own adivce :-) So I'm not saying this is...

    Trichs Never Turn Amber

Qoute: "Amber trichomes contain CBN which is the product of degraded THC and it represents a 90% loss of potency." Source pleace, I'm sick and tired of forum-myths. What's wrong with saying "I believe" before passing on info with no source. Not that you have to be wrong, it's not about that at...

    Trichs Never Turn Amber

@Perkins: " There are phenos that simply do not get real amber, I know that for sure. And it's not only a few strains, if anything it seems to get more common today (hybrids without real amber thricomes). You could wait and get darker brown/yellow thrics, but what you see is overripe bud - not...

    Seeds and genetics question !

I was told Parthenogenesis occurs only in a few plants naturally, and that cannabis is not one of them. If I'm wrong then I've learned something, not bad for an old man. Do you have a link to more info about this? Thanks.

    Seeds and genetics question !

It's incredibly easy to miss a pollensack, which you proably did. Even after you know what you're looking for they are a pain to search for. Seeds don't appear unnless cannabis-pollen is present, and jugding by the low number of seeds it's no mystery you missed it (very few bananas to find)...

I will no longer trim before hanging..for real try it...way better...

I wonder.. who was the idiot who originally started telling everybody to chop up their plants into tiny pieces and separate them, and expect better drying-conditions? How did he/she pull that myth off? Hehe... It's an internet-thing, it's an internet-method.

    Questions About Curing

You really should put each strain in separate containers, at least if you are serious about curing. That's the only way to do each strain justice, so you can jugde them. There will be different smells, but also potency. So go shopping for glass jars, and get the correct sizes for each strain...

Little thread love? Lemme know if I should harvest or wait... Good trichome pics!

Just be careful. I did a stupid mistake, believing I had milky 99% milky trichs i harvested. After harvest I noticed they were mostly clear, the cloudy was simply an illusion - probably created by the camera I used to view the thricomes. Using a lupe it all looked clear :-( Edit: make sure you...

    curing question

Yes, when it gets below 55% RH in the jar the cure is over. It should start at about 65-75% RH, and you gradually burp until 60% RH (at that point, you should not need to burp). If above 70% RH get the buds out for more drying before jarring again. Yeah... you do need a hygrometer that fits...

I will no longer trim before hanging..for real try it...way better...

I find it amazing that people actually remove all fan-leaves, cut up their plant into several small branches, and then hang them to dry. This is why there are so many threads about "hay-smell", "locked in clorophyll", "green taste".... you don't dry your plant properly. IMHO, the longer they...

    Unconventional plant cultivation

This thread makes me blue. I know that it's easy to say "magic mumbo jumbo" when talking about electromagnetic fields, or simply magnetism. I believe it's because few understand this topic, including me. So educate yourself, and you'll quickly find out that LIGHT in fact are electromagnetic...

    Feminized seeds causing this?

You've got the correct advice. Just be careful, make it moist - take your time. Edit: this did not happen because the seed is feminized, it happens with regular seeds too.
