How about this tiny one I found in the garden. Male? Looks different to me. Course my record on this sex determination is now floating around the neighborhood as pollen!:-? It's about 10" tall now. Not much sun all summer. Shaded by the peppers...
I'm going out now to throw it in the pond. I've got a bunch of white amur (grass carp LOL) in there that love to eat "grass" and this summer has been tough on them with the draught we have here.
It was bag seed. But it was good stuff. Will this plant produce more seeds of the same strain or will it go back to one of it's parents if it was a hybrid?
I planted this one, (and only this one!) last July. I thought I had correctly determined it was a female because it had only hairs rather than balls. But now I think I was wrong. I've found lots of pics of young plants, but not adults male plants. What do you think? Male?
