I have read up on lighting for the last few days but I remain confused...what would be the general rule of thumb when it comes to either watts or lumes per sq ft with the cfl's? I have heard that watts are what to go by and also that I should concentrate on the lumes per sq ft....I need a drink

Thanks man, when you say 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower are you talking about the lumens? Sorry its just the lighting is foreign to me and I am having a hard time figuring it out with research. I know I sound stupid and apologize if I did something wrong when starting a new thread.
