Are you serious? lol Id have it about 3ft for seedlings and gradually move it a few inches closer every day untill you are about 12" away and stick to that distance from then on And please please dont do what N.Lights x nightshade said as you will kill your plants lol

aah i cant find any eye hortilux in the uk except on ebay but there being posted from the usa i have noticed on the add for my ballast it says it is hps and mh compatible Basement Lighting Hydroponics and Grow Lights UK so might try a mh

Hi, im currently vegging a few mr. nice critical mass and a couple of ghs big bang. I have them under a 400w hps and tbh they arnt growing too well at the moment, the last big bangs i grew did much better under a 125w blue cfl so im thinking i need more blue spectrum in there Which bulb...

Well lowlife seeds do autoflowering strains too and they recomend using a 400w hps all the way through if your going to use just one light. Kinda makes sense when they have such a short veg period, most of its life will be in flower so why not have the best light for flowering A 400w hps...
