i beg to differ with you a magnetic ballast runs at an average of 8 amps where a digital runs at 2.5 amps cutting down on heat and hydro thus saving you money in your over all costs... another thing i learned was that for roughly the same price in hydro you can run 2 600 watt digital ballasts...
