  • For that small of a space in each chamber i would use something like this. http://www.htgsupply.com/growlights.asp?categoryID=1&subcategoryID=155&typeID=56 I also would use the 435cfm or smaller with a charcoal or carbin filter but you only have to worry about odor on the flowering side of the closet. as for ventilation in i would use 120mm computer case fans. they are cheap and an inverter to run them (they are 12v) is cheap also. i wouldnt just leave a whole open as that may have some odor issues for you. I will see if any of my friends will sign up here and mentor you.
I decided to build my own grow box with wood and line the inside with mylar. I am going to use the same set up you gave me but i am going to build a veg room for cloning and then a flowering room. Each box will be 2.5ft by 2.5ft by 6.5 ft tall. I am going to use the ebb and flow for the flowering and a drip system for veg. What do you think of this set up?
t8's or t5's are fine for vegging but definately under perform when flowering. i would suggest a 400 or 600w ballast that is switchable from mh during vegging to hps for flowering if you are still planning on using the 4 x 4 closet or tent setup.
I dont because i have a dedicated 16 x 20 room, but i have two buddyies that do and yes it does do well to control the smell if you use the proper ventilation, which you would have to do anyways
