    Plants Staying Low

I am growing some Hindu Skunk and they seem to be growing nice. Growing nice but not up. They are two weeks into veg, have been topped and look like heads of lettuce. I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, 1000 watt MH light in a Sunsystems Ocho light fixture on a light mover (only an eight foot...

    Cheap Fermentation CO2 System

Didn't stink it up to bad. Kind of smelled like bread or light wine. Fans would take it right out when they kicked on but that means all the CO2 probably got sucked out too. I tried to exchange the air all night and left the fans off for a couple of hours at a time while the lights were on so...

Just some FYI for the newbie growers..

Many sites that sell seed have videos and tips on planting seeds and they say the seed should be sown in the soil with the tap root pointing up. It is supposed to be natural for the tap root to start upward then curl down into the soil. If you put the seed in the ground tap root down, it will...

    Cheap Fermentation CO2 System

I don't have the money at this time to buy a fancy CO2 set up for this grow. I heard about making CO2 with sugar water and yeast so I figured some CO2 is better than none so I set out to make something up. I don't know how good these work, I don't have a meter to read the levels of CO2 in my...

I can't figure out how to post multiple pictures with comments or captions over each picture. Like some of the how to tutorials. For example. Here is the bucket before I took a dump in it (picture) Here is the bucket after I took a dump in it (picture) This is a picture of my wife throwing...

Good for dehumidifying intake air needed

The room is 8x12 with a 6" inlet duct. Fan is at the top of the room creating a negative in the room which draws the air in trough the 6" duct.

Good for dehumidifying intake air needed

Won't it have to be a monster to dehumidify all the humid air I am pumping into the room? Thanks for responding, someone gives a shit about newbies :)

    Newbie Trying Hard

Hello, This site has great info and I'm looking to soak in the right way to do this. I'm on my second grow with so so results so I figured I'd hang with people who have good input on things that work. Having trouble getting any answers to my posts but I guess everyone will loosen up in time...

Good for dehumidifying intake air needed

Well it is winter and rainy outside and the air I'm pulling in is high in humidity. Anyone have a good method to lower the humidity of the air I'm pulling in? I was trying to think of a way to dehumidify the air before it enters the room. Seems like if you have a fan pumping humid air into the...

Hello, I need some opinions, I veged my plants for four weeks (should have done two). The plants have been on 12/12 for four weeks now and it looks like the plants have almost stopped mid bud. There is also some orange hairs on 2/3 of the buds so do you guys think their going to finish before...
