Yeah it's opposite the green end, so its not upside down or anything? Doing hempy buckets, only soil I can get here is MG and I've heard some bad things I don't want to chance happening.

This is the first plant I've started and I just want to be sure it should look the way it does. The curly white part seems a little off to me. Anyone able to help me with this?

Update: November 26, 2013. First plant sprouted from the perlite but still waiting for the others to germinate, I have another bag of seeds from the sane stuff so I may try them if no signs of germing later this week.

I've been reading about this hempy stuff and it seems more straight forward, not trying to argue since I am new but where I can't get great soil here I feel I might try the hempy method. I plan on growing six or so plants so maybe I'll do a few of each and see how they work out.
