Thanks for the advice Sam.
They will absorb all the water I can give them by the next day. Shell I just leave them without water and light for 2 weeks?
The freezer thing sounds interesting. Has anyone seen it working or tried it out?
Hi RIU fellows,
I'll be out of town for about 15days after harvesting and I need to slow down the drying process as much as possible. The temperature in my place is about 80F and humidity in 40-50% range.
I'm looking for recommendations / similar experiences.
Thank you.
Hi RIU,
I've done some cloning in the past, and I might say with reasonable success rate. I was doing some reading today about cloning on RIU and I've noticed two totally different sets of opinion in regards to how to insert a cutting in medium.
Some people are saying that the lowest node...
As far as I know, the lateral cutting should be above a node and not at the stem. The top one is fine. If you cut it like the picture shows and if you don't keep at least one node on the branch you are cutting, nothing will grow in that place after that.
I would like to hear some comments...
The issue with RIU is that there is no marker for sarcasm.
My post was a reply for the guy saying that yo shouldn't buy anything but water from HD. I buy everything from WM and HD. Any brand of 20-20-20 nutrient is good for vegging and any 10-50-10 for flowering. It shouldnt cost you more then...
yeah, totally agree, if you pay less then $100 for a half gallon pot of soil, $500 for nutrients for 2 plants and $1000 for lights there is no chance in hell you will ever get to grow any cannabis :)
Hi everybody
I want to do some cloning and use perlite as medium as rockwool is not an option for me. I did some reading and this is what I have till now:
- get a 12oz solo cup
- make a hole, 0.5” from the bottom
- soak perlite in water, fill up 3/4 of the cup with perlite
- pour water in...
I would assume that you kept at least two nodes per clone. I dont have a lot of experience but the idea with two half nodes seems a bit unfeasible to me.
Has anyone tried this stuff? What is the success rate? Any pictures? I couldn't find any other references saying that cutting trough a node would be a viable solution.
