ive only ever used the rockwool ( 2") starter cubes in hydroton, and if i didnt see roots in 3 days or so just give it a bit of top feed with the solution to keep the rockwool from drying out..mabye someone esle can help ya there, but not too dry not too wet is usually a safe bet... lol Also...

If it is nitrogen (looks like it) I would say your PH is to blame not your ppm . you said 5.2 - 6.2 , bump it up to around 6 and you should start seeing resuts

pretty sure ive heard some ppl talk shit on them , but dont take my word for it, i was just gonna check out some ghouse from hempdepot too, go to main forum and seed and strain reviews, i think teres a list of trusted seedbanks there

how big is your res? too small there is less water and more room for fluctuations.. also ph in my system is ideal at 5.8 - 6.2 any lower i start to see problems

Also im not sure how to read ec. I just have the Tri meter with ppm, I would say a ppm of about 400 - 600 would be ideal for your stage about now but i would keep it on the low side till you get all your other stuff steadied out because they may not be getting all the nutrients they need with...
