Personally... if your just doing one or 2 plants I wouldn't bother spending the 150 to 250 on an aero-garden... I would take the money and go buy some lighting then DIY a 5 gallon bucket DWC.

The only thing I use an aero-garden for is cloning. I have enjoyed a 100% success rate using the aero-garden for that purpose. I can't imagine the aero-garden producing a yield to make it worth the effort with out supplemental lighting.

I have run Organic Soil, DWC, and Ebb and Gro all at the same time this past gro.. ALL plants were the same strain... an elite clone only strain that I have.... My Organic soil produced the least budd... each plant only gave up about 3 ounces, while the Ebb and Gro avged 12 ounces each... the...

the trick to only having to flush once is to raise all the bucket sites 3 or 4 inches off the ground in the drain cycle before you do the initial empty... than rather than fill the drum and cycle water thru... just take a 5 gallon pail and start at the buckets farthest away and start pouring...

Hell ya it is possible, its the best place to send your exhaust... whatever you do dont send it out a window... ideally since your in the basement... tie into either waste or where your furnace exhaust is and send it out thru your roof. That room is great... you really need to get that...
