I am in Cali so , heat is never really a problem. I want to keep it simple that is why I thought a 6 inch fan will keep it cool enough and a vent in the door will help with air exchange. I would be saving money not having to have an intake fan.

I am confused were the last comments directed at me?

My window is not in the room I run the duct through a hole in the door and out the window. Instead of an intake fan for fresh air can I cut a 12x12 inch vent into the door and use that?
