Won't be doing it again, it's not as horrible as everyone makes it out to be but it definitely isn't for me. I still got fat buds since my plants are super healthy, but the sites on 2 plants where I left fan leaves ARE bigger, even as you go down the plant.

shouldn't really do that. Ive done the experiments, but I guess u gotta see for yourself. I will have to agree. I cut the fan leaves on one side of this one plant I got going and the buds are smaller. This node also has no shading on either side. The side w the fan leaf is bigger. Day 5...

See now you got me thinking, the sativas I tried it on I did a bit overboard. With these I took i'd say 30% of the fan leaves.

Also doing 12/12 from seed outta boredom and it seems to be working wonderfully.

I'm going to do it three times with indica and sativa dominant strains. At least that way it's somewhat scientific.

To be fair i'll post pics of the "horrible haze" defoliation experiment from earlier this summer when i get the chance.

I will say it did not work on the 2 haze plants I had, it shocked them, the indicas seem to like it.

I've got one vegging I rabid dogged. Nice grow! I am doing it out of boredom, already got my years stash.
