To me there is no difference in quality when it comes to soil vs hydro, the advantage of hydro is after intial setup its cheaper, plants grow faster and sometimes bigger depending on the grower and it gives a person more control over growing conditions. I personally just like getting dirty or maybe just dont like changing, dont change what isnt broken. Beginning of last year is when i started going indoor, up until then it was only outdoor but finally invested in a proper setup. My outdoor harvest provides me with much more than I can smoke in a year, but its nice to experiment with strains and get a mix of smoke throughout the year. Hydro is for sure the more cost effective way to go, but soil is easier to me since Ive been using it for many years, if you know what your doing I suppose hydro is the way to go but its mainly preference in the end.
