The only 2 reasons ive heard that make alot of sense when looked into would probably individual health of the plant.. And probably an obvious is the strain types.. Something like that, but my opinion is probably exactly just that cuz I haven't been an official "grower" for all that long my self..

Ya I was looking at it.. Alot of my plants I plan on lots if veg time.. The 2 I have in right now are for 2 things.. Clones for the rest of the grow.. And I am going to try to do a 32 cola split on them wait till end of may then transfer them out side to let them finish veg and flower outdoors...
