The bottle isn't mounted on the door, is mounted on the side wall of the box. It's on the side near the door though.

In nature the days don't change from long to short overnight, they shorten a little each day. That's kinda what you've emulated here, so it's normal for a plant to respond by starting the transition to the flowering stage. It should be fine and long as your not cutting to much of the top...

UPDATE: Im switching to Fox Farm Grow Big for the veg stage. I like the wider variety of ingredients compared to the maxigrow (earthworm castings, kelp). I'm starting at 1 tsp/gallon, increasing to 2 tsp in a week or two.
