I have a 400w HPS I'm going to put them under as soon as i can build a bigger box with proper ventilation

These are around week 5-6. A couple look good but some look pretty sad, I'm not going to give up on them yet though.

These are from week 4-5. I started to notice brown spots on the leafs.I posted on the " newbie forum and found out it was my water. Started to boil it and fixed the problem but not before i had some plant damage.

This is the first grow I've ever attempted so I'm hoping it goes well but we'll see.These pics are from week 2-3. I'm using seeds from a friend so I have no idea what strain or sex.I would like to sex the plants and clone the best female, if i even get one lol.

i got the 400W HPS/MH switchable too. it looks like cool little unit. how much heat should i expect? i'm gonna vent it out a window with a 4" line so i should have good air flow

I just bought a 400w hps to flower my plants and was wondering how big i should make my grow box. I was going to use my cfl's for the whole grow but thought better of it.It's my first grow so i want to do it right. Thanks.

Water, I would never have guessed that.I filter mine through the Brita, I thought that would be good enough. Should I boil it first?

I think my plants have spider mites but my buddy says no so I was hoping to get some feedback. I think the brown spots and carved up leaves have to be from them but it is my first grow so any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Never heard of that! Ill give it a try, i just deal with it for the most part.Paraffin wax works good too but it gets expensive.

Gobbly, the 6.5 covers the full light spectrum right?

Ok I'm gonna get another t5 instead of cfl's, it's not that much of a price difference so why cheap out right. Thanks allot guys!
