Hey all,
keeping it brief, I have a plant that went into flower while I was away and it has pretty much completed its life cycle in terms of flowering. It is only small but I wanted it for clones....
Can I take this plant back to vegetation without serious side effects (purely to take clones)...
The seedlings are too young for nutes yet, I have begun adjusting the Ph, it will only work out to about three waterings before it sits at 6ish. I may pick up a soil test kit in the next few days, definitely before I re pot them.
Fun & Games!!!
Hi, I tested my water last night and it hit an easy 8 on the Ph scale. I used Ph Down and did a good solid watering with Ph 7.5 water.
The soil is a quality seedling soil from yates, I have not got a soil test kit but I assume it would be a suitable Ph. (50/50 soil/Perlite)
Will it be ok to...
Got out the jigsaw and mounted a new wall over the front half of the room. The exhaust fan is AC 160mm, it pushes a shit load of air out, I'm thinking an intake fan is not needed (plus this thing is loud enough on its own.)
I want to check Jaycar tomorrow and see if there is a way I can slow...
New seeds popped and placed into the soil last night, went with eight total as I'm hoping for at least four females.
New soil looks a lot nicer than the old crap, its a much darker colour and finer. I mixed up 50/50 Seedling soil and Perlite and I also picked up some new degradable cardboard...
Yea the original soil was a no name from Bunnings, it is very chunky. I have already dragged the bag out the back and will just use it on decorative indoor plants instead.
I heard the Yates seedling soil is very good :)
Should have some pictures of the new setup soon.
Brief Pause while I try to fix my mistakes, all but one of the original seedlings are looking terrible. To that end I have started germinating another batch of seeds.
I have also purchased a bag of Yates seedling soil and a bag of perlite, along with three more globes and some other bits and...
Ok, so I went back over it all and plugged the hot wires into the unmarked points.....and bingo she lit up nicely. So I'm thinking the "L" may stand for loop or some thing. Thanks anyway mate.
I have an Australian light fitting, it has four connections. One is marked "L" and another is marked "Earth". The other two are not marked.
Standard power cabling has three wires.
Brown = Live
Yellow = Earth
Blue = Neutral
After wiring it the way I thought it should be I got nothing, I tested...
Thought I would ask in here as well as my own thread.

Currently sitting in Melbourne :)
Will duck out today and pick up some of that seedling soil. I started germinating another batch of seeds last night just incase these ones don't perk up soon, two look near dead, the others are looking a little better but not growing much.
Even though I've...
Yea I'm from Oz :)
I have my g/f watching every dollar I spend, which is kinda bullshit because I'm growing it for her lol. Because of this fact I have started purchasing things when she is not around, Ph tester is next on the list, I think I may try and get some soilless mix tomorrow. I don't...
Thanks all, I will flush the pots for the moment and hope that helps over the next few days. I cannot afford new soil for a few days at least I'm afraid, hoping it can wait until a re-pot is due.
Hi, being my first grow I am a little stumped on how you tell what is killing my new babies. My seedlings seem to be growing a little slowly and the lower leaves are all yellowed, there are two that seem to have badly burnt leaves.
Sorry for the bad pictures.
These are thirteen days old from...
