I thought about building one using a cooler. I use a dremel bit for cutting plastic, looks like a drill bit, cuts through coolers like butter. Plus there is a drain plug on the bottom that will make changing the water a breeze.
Baby play date? :)
Looks good. I just built a small dwc setup for my box, i have 192w of cfls on them. Seeds just popped today. Feminized Trainwreck :leaf:
Build a hydroelectric dam and divert a river that i close by so you can make electricity. Then your off the power grid and dont have to worrie about the feds busting your hidden/secret tunnel grow.
Problem Solved! :hump:
I understand your idea and i have looked at some fridge grows but your going to have to make some holes for venting. If you have heat in there (lights) its going to keep that heat and im not sure if it would properly cool it. Have you tried putting a light in there with it on and checking the...
I love it when people do that. I should join the bandwagon... I would be running 900w of CFL in my 9 cubic foot cabinet.
6 - 27w
2 - 42w

This is exactly what i want to do, i have an area 18"x36"x36" that i want to try this on. From the people that i have talked to, it should stay cool with a 4" inline. My temps now with 4-27w and 2-42w CFLs are around 78 degrees.....
Check your bulbs for the kelvin temp of the bulb. In the photo below you can see that this bulb is marked 2700k, so it is going to put off a yellow or reddish light. Bulbs marked 5000k or 6500k will work for veg, but 6500k is the best.
Veg - 5000k - 6500k
Flower - 2700k - 3000k
Some bulbs are...
You will want to run them on 18/6 soon IMO.... You can run it on 24/7 (thats what im currently doing with my trainwreck clone). The plant does need some dark time.
Remember that during flowering, your plant can get up to 3x bigger, so dont veg to long or you might run out of room.
