My plant is 3 weeks old and the leaf tips are curling down what could be causing this? Also, should i cut the big fan leafs off they down seem to be doin much good for the plant just keeping the plant from getting light ni some spots...what are the advantages and disadvantages of cutting them?

I have 2 plants under 3 63watt 2700k CFL bulbs and one of the plants stem is very purple. what does this mean?

i started the plants at 12/12 from seed then changed it to 20/4. also, do they make the 63watt CFL's with 6500k? How much slower will it grow with the 2700k bulbs?

The CFL's i have are 2700K. I have the 63watt ones..they are huge but only come in 2700K that i have seen..so will those not work for vegging for 3-5weeks if i have 4 of them on 2 plants?
