if you don't have mylar you could always paint it white.

They don't take too long aslong as you have a dome/greenhouse over them. Usually it shouldn't take over 5-7 days for them to germinate (atleast from my experience....) & I'd leave them in the pellets but if you really want the seeds try taking them out...I don't know if that would effect them...

Yeah, I'd try tying them down with some string.... gl
